Contributions: Shell & interior modeling (Fusion 360), manufacturing documentation, tire carrier design & analysis (FEA)

This project pushed the boundaries of modern expedition vehicles. The vehicle was outfitted by TAV, including a long travel suspension setup, armor/bumpers, and off-road lights. We worked with Enduro Campers to design a custom composite camper prioritizing off-road handling while still providing premium amenities.

The camper shell was constructed from composite panels and proprietary extrusions. Design elements included the following:
-
Panel architecture optimizing suspension travel, weight distribution, and chassis/cab fitment
 -
Manual lifting board assembly supported with gas struts
 -
Formed/welded sheet metal tire carrier incorporating blind spot monitors and third brake light
 -
Integrated mount and cab pass-thru design

The interior design optimized packaging constraints to include the following:
-
Sheet metal and composite build-out
 -
Optimized electrical and system placement
 -
Lifting bed platform, dual strut supports
 -
Integrated fuel filler
